Grading System

1. At the end of each semester or academic year, students receive grades based on their performance in exams and assignments for each registered course. These grades are represented by letters such as A, B, C, etc., and are associated with numerical values called grade points. The percentage ranges for these grade points are outlined below.

2. The University uses a grading scale of 10. A Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6 or higher out of 10 at the end of the program is considered First Position in the class on an annual basis.

3. According to current regulations, class rankings are not certified except for First Position on a yearly basis.

4. The minimum passing grade is D for all project, theory, and lab courses.

5. All courses at the university are conducted in English.

6. Grades F and X are included in the calculations for both the Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) and the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

SGPA (Si) = ∑ (Earned Credits Ci × Grade Point Gi) / ∑ Earned Credits Ci;
